This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application PYQ AI: Previous Year Papers (package
name: com.pscprepcompanion.app, also referred to as "PYQ App", "the app", "we", "us"), developed
and published by Abhiram S / Geocart.
PYQ App is an independent study companion for competitive exam aspirants (State PSCs, SSC, RRB/Railways, UPSC, etc.). This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and how your privacy is protected.
Summary
- Signed-in account: profile, coin wallet, unlocks, referrals, and Pro status on our servers (Supabase).
- Quiz history and answers stay on your device — not uploaded to our servers.
- Coin packs: Google Play (Android), App Store (iOS), or Razorpay (web). Pro subscription via Google Play, App Store, or Razorpay (web).
- We do not sell personal information or share private quiz data to train public AI models.
Information we collect
- Account: email; optional name and phone on your profile.
- Quiz activity: answers, history, badges — stored on your device only.
- Coins (signed-in): balance, rewards, paper unlocks.
- Purchases: Google Play, App Store, or Razorpay verification; Pro subscription status.
- Local device: theme, preferences, local progress.
- Crash reports: Sentry in production (no answers or profile in reports).

Terms of Service
By using PYQ App (the Android app, iOS app, or this website) you agree to these Terms of Service. The app is an independent private study aid, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Kerala PSC, SSC, RRB/Railways, UPSC, or any government agency or exam conducting body.
Key points
- Official sources: Previous Year Question Papers (PYQs) are compiled from publicly released official government examination portals for educational review and self-study. Original question content remains the copyright of the respective conducting authorities.
- AI-generated explanations: Detailed answer explanations, solution steps, and study notes may be generated or augmented using Artificial Intelligence (AI). They are supplementary educational learning aids, may contain errors or hallucinations, and do not constitute official answer keys or academic declarations.
- Study disclaimers: Content is provided “as is” — marked options and explanations are for practice only. Always verify critical answers with official exam conducting body notifications (keralapsc.gov.in, ssc.gov.in, rrbcdg.gov.in, upsc.gov.in).
- Use the app for personal study only; do not scrape, bulk-download, or resell the question bank.
- Coins are virtual currency with no cash value.
- Coin packs & Pro subscriptions: Google Play (Android), App Store (iOS), or Razorpay (web). Cancel subscriptions via store settings; deleting your app account does not cancel recurring store billing.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse purchases, referrals, or promo codes.

Data Compliance
PYQ App aligns with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and Google Play data-safety requirements. We act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through the app.
Your rights
- Access / copy: email geocartindia@gmail.com or view profile in the app.
- Correction: edit name and phone on Profile.
- Erasure: Profile → Delete account (see Account Deletion below).
- Grievance: email geocartindia@gmail.com — we aim to respond within 30 days.
Security & retention
- HTTPS in transit; Supabase Row-Level Security for account data.
- Quiz data stays on your device; server account data deleted on account deletion.
- No sale of personal data. Optional rewarded ads only when you choose to watch.

Account Deletion Policy
This Account Deletion Policy applies to PYQ AI: Previous Year Papers (Package ID: com.pscprepcompanion.app), developed and provided by Geocart / Abhiram S.
How to Delete Your Account and Associated Data
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Instant)
- Open the PYQ app on your device.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account and confirm the prompt.
This immediately and permanently removes your account, authentication record, coin wallet, unlocked papers, referral records, and subscription tier from our servers (Supabase), and clears all local quiz history on your device.
Option 2: Web / Email Deletion Request (Without Reinstalling the App)
If you have uninstalled the app or no longer have access to your device, you can request account and data deletion by sending an email to:

Email Subject: Account Deletion Request - PYQ App
Information to provide: Your registered account email address.
Our support team will verify and permanently delete your account and all associated data within 7 business days and confirm via email.
What Data Is Deleted
- Account credentials & profile: Email address, name, and phone number.
- Wallet & Unlocks: Coin balances, reward history, and paper unlocks.
- Referrals & Subscriptions: Server-side subscription status and referral associations.
- Local Cache: Quiz sessions, scores, and preferences stored on your phone.
What Data Is Retained
No personal information is retained. Any previously submitted app bug reports or question feedback are permanently anonymized and detached from your user identity.
Active Store Subscriptions
Deleting your app account does not automatically cancel recurring store subscriptions billed by Google Play or Apple. Cancel active subscriptions directly in:
Google Play Store: Profile Icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cancel.
