TalkTime (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting children and preventing
child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. These Child Safety Standards
describe our policies, enforcement practices, and reporting procedures for the TalkTime
Android and iOS applications (com.matez.voice). TalkTime is for adults
18+ only. Separate from CSAE rules, TalkTime also bans adult sexual content
and sexual conversation between adults—see our
Community Guidelines.
1. Zero tolerance for CSAE
TalkTime explicitly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The following are strictly forbidden on TalkTime:
- Any sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualizes children.
- Grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of minors through voice calls, profiles, or any other feature.
- Sharing, requesting, or distributing CSAM in any form.
- Using TalkTime to facilitate contact with minors for abusive or exploitative purposes.
- Impersonating a minor or misrepresenting age to interact with minors.
Violations result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal, preservation of relevant evidence as permitted by law, and reporting to appropriate authorities.
2. Age requirement
TalkTime is for adults 18 years and older only. We do not knowingly permit children under 18 to use the service. Users must provide accurate date-of-birth information where requested. Accounts believed to belong to minors are removed.
3. Prevention measures
We work to reduce CSAE risk through:
- Age gating: TalkTime is not intended for users under 18, as stated in our Privacy Policy.
- Host verification: hosts undergo identity review before approval.
- Community enforcement: user reports, account restrictions, and admin review of serious violations.
- Real-time voice only: TalkTime does not support persistent user-generated media uploads that could host CSAM.
- Monitoring and response: safety reports are reviewed promptly; confirmed violations lead to enforcement action.
4. How to report child safety concerns
If you see behavior that may involve CSAE or CSAM on TalkTime, report it immediately:
- In the app: go to Settings → Help & Support → Report Safety Concern to contact our safety team.
- By email: talktime717@gmail.com (subject: “Child Safety Report”). Include the reported username, a description of the concern, and the date/time if known.
For emergencies involving imminent danger to a child, contact your local law enforcement authority first.
5. CSAM response
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE on TalkTime, we will:
- Remove the offending account and restrict access to the relevant content or session.
- Preserve information as required for investigation and legal compliance.
- Report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via CyberTipline where applicable, and to relevant regional and national authorities as required by law (including authorities in India where our operations are based).
- Cooperate with law enforcement and platform safety notifications from Google Play and the Apple App Store.
6. Legal compliance
TalkTime complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We maintain procedures to report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC or the appropriate regional authority, and to respond to valid legal requests from law enforcement.
7. Child safety point of contact
Google Play, the App Store, and other parties may contact our designated child safety representative about CSAE content found on TalkTime:
Email:
geocartindia@gmail.com
Safety reports (users):
talktime717@gmail.com
Our designated contact is authorized to speak about TalkTime’s CSAM prevention practices, enforcement procedures, and compliance steps, and to take action when required.
8. Updates
We may update these standards from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
